When a simple classroom lesson turned into a life-changing project, Creekside Early Childhood School second graders proved that compassion knows no borders. During an English language arts unit on schools around the world, teacher Stephanie Allan shared photos of a school in Malawi, Africa. The images sparked questions - and a desire to help.

Dear Creekside Families,

Thank you so much to our amazing PTO and to all who have already supported Creekside PTO’s Disney Raffle!  All proceeds go right back to Creekside, supporting our students and staff at our school.  Did you know the PTO Disney Raffle funds exciting things for all Cubs?

PTO’s Disney raffle allows PTO to cover the cost of busing for all Cubs on their field trips (Lakota is not allowed to charge families for field trip transportation).  It pays for the Field Trip/Field Day T-shirt each Cub receives and the Sweet Treat Truck all Cubs enjoy during Field Day.  Of course, the extent to which PTO is able to make purchases for our Cubs depends on the total amount raised.  Check out the fun graphic below to see more items PTO is committed to buying at different milestones of our Disney Raffle.

You can buy raffle tickets online for a chance to win one or two $3,000 Disney gift cards by clicking here.  $3,000 goes to the person with the winning ticket, and another $3,000 goes to the family of the student who sold the winning ticket. Our PTO is also sponsoring weekly prizes for the top selling class and a prize for the student who sells the most raffle tickets. All proceeds go toward helping our Cubs and Creekside.  Thanks for supporting our school!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Partnering with you to support our Cubs,

Todd Hartman, Principal

Jessica Skelton, Assistant Principal
